Lycamobile USA nutzt das Netz von T-Mobile USA

Der große Erfolg von T-Mobile USA mit deutlichem Kundenzuwachs aufgrund Top-Qualität und schnellem, flächendeckenden 4G/LTE Netz-Ausbau ist bestimmt einigen unserer Kunden bekannt.
T-Mobile USA vermietet sein Netz an den Anbieter Lycamobile USA weiter, der neben Highspeed Internet insbesondere auch gute internationale Telefonie-Konditionen bietet. U.a. eine Telefonflat ins deutsche und östereichische Fest-/Mobilnetz und Schweizer Festnetz. Unsere meistverkaufte USA Simkarte ist daher auch die von Lycamobile USA.

Wie uns Lycamobile nun mitgeteilt hat, haben alle Nutzer mit 5G-fähigen Endgeräten in den USA auch Zugang zum neuesten 5G-Netz, das T-Mobile USA aufgebaut hat. Insbesondere in den wichtigsten Metropolen ist dies bereits verfügbar.

Hier die entsprechende Information von Lycamobile aus dem Februar 2021:

„Lycamobile Dealers—

I hope you are doing well as we inch closer to our peak selling season and hopefully the decline of the pandemic!  Some of you have asked me when Lyca will have 5G service available to customers.

Well…we have it available today!

If your customer has a 5G-capable handset, your customer will receive 5G data speeds on their device.  One caveat:  The screen on the mobile device will still read 4G LTE, and that’s due to the model of SIM card currently in the market.  We’re working with T-Mobile to acquire new 5G SIMs that will enable a 5G handset to display 5G in the corner of the screen.  Nevertheless, 5G-capable handsets will experience 5G speeds on the network.
